Nikolay Stoyanov
Biography
 
Born on 12.11.1970 in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria
 
As a young boy Nikolay participated in National and International assemblies for young artists and at age of thirteen he was enrolled at the private school for Fine Art, specialising in painting, where he was personally supervised and tutored by one the best-known painters in Bulgaria - Botyo Botev.

  • He has been working with "Silver Street Gallery" Somerset
 
March 2007  
2004
  • Moved to UK, Newbury and undertake gallery commisions. Also provided work to private buyers from UK, France, Spain and Bulgaria
  • Participates in the Balkan Quadrinnale of painting
 
2002
  • Moved to Spain and provided work to galleries in Roses
 
February 2002
  • Partisipates in the Exhibition in Cork Street London with "The Society for Art of Imagination"
 
2001
  • Provided work in London galleries
 
2000
  • Eight solo exhibition in Bishop's Stortford
 
1999
  • Moved to UK in September
 
1998
  • Moved to Belgium and work for galleries in Brussels
 
1997
  • Enrolled in the French Foreign Legion
  • Seventh solo exhibition: "The history of the Foreign Legion"
  • Moved to the general headquarters to start work on paintings commisioned their museum
 
1996
  • Moved to Germany and undertake gallery commisions
 
1995
  • First and only solo exhibition of photography in Veliko Tarnovo
  • Two solo exhibitions: Stara zagora and Nessebar, the later a total sell-out private buyers from Germany and Scandinavia
 
1992
  • Fourth solo exhibition
  • Moved to Veliko Tarnovo to start working in the field of icons and avant-garde painting (large scale)
 
1991
  • Third solo exhibition (painting) in Stara Zagora resulting in commissions for several galleries throughout the country
 
1989
  • Second solo exhibition while doing military service
